The final moderation and verification of SBA ONLY will commence on Monday, the 13th of October. It is going to be a tight run: no time for error, no time for manoeuvre

Since I will be visiting 3 (!) schools per day EVERY day of the week, I’ll be out of office busy or on the road most of the time.

It is important that you are prepared for my visits, since my program is deadline driven. Thus, it will NOT be possible to be flexible with dates.

In order to be adequately prepared for my visit (and I expect nothing less than that) you have to make copies of Evidence of Learner Performance checklist (the number of copies will be equal to the number of learners you have), and ensure it is correctly completed and signed by individual learners. After that your Subject Head (e.g. an HOD) or your Academic Head, should sample 10% of learner’s portfolios, tick off in the second column and sign as Internal Moderator. When I meet with you, I will do further sampling. I will also complete the Teacher Portfolio checklist on site (please organise your portfolio in the exact order presented in the checklist to save time). You must also have the Raw Data Sheets and Final Schedule printed, stamped and signed by the Principal.
